UCSF Clinically Integrated Network

East Bay Pediatrics will join the UCSF Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) starting May 19, 2026. We at East Bay Pediatrics are excited to partner with UCSF and meeting shared clinical guidelines while continuing to run this pediatric practice ourselves. You will continue to receive the same level of care from our dedicated physicians and excellent staff. Our Advice nurses will continue to answer your questions and help you schedule appointments. In addition, you will have access to MyChart to view patient records and billing will go through the UCSF Health Medical Foundation. 

What does this mean for you? 

  • Same excellent care: No change to our doctors or staff. Same phone advice nurses.
  • Shared clinical quality with UCSF CIN pediatric practices. 
  • Access to patient charts though UCSF MyChart *coming soon
  • Updated privacy policies for patients 12 years and up (see below for more)
  • Updated billing through UCSF Health Medical Foundation *for visits on May 19 and after
  • Same insurance plans accepted - and more! all the same PPOs plus UCSF Health includes Hills Physicians HMO in addition to Brown & Toland HMO​

What can you do now for a smooth transition?

  • Download your growth chart and immunization record from the current patient portal 
    • East Bay Pediatrics will transfer data for all patients but this small step will guarantee that you have your child's information
  • Pay your bill online with the  current patient portal. 
    • Visits prior to May 19 are being billed to your insurance. Billing follow up will continue with PedsOne. Save yourself confusion by paying your bill now

Sign up for MyChart *coming soon
New to UCSF: 
  • Sign up online at ucsfhealth.org/mychart
  • Choose "Sign up without an activation code"
  • Answer identity verification questions (through Experian)
  • Request proxy access *you are a proxy if you are trying to access your child's chart: Profile > Account Settings > MyChart Proxy Center
  • Download MyChart App 
  • Update your demographics before your appointment (see below)
Already have a UCSF MyChart account:
  • This may apply to you if you have seen a specialist; had a procedure, labs or Xrays; or been to the emergency room at a UCSF facility
  • Login after **date** and make sure that your pediatrician is part of your team
  • Download MyChart App if you have not already done so
  • Update your demographics before your appointment (see below)
