The FDA has approved COVID vaccinations for children under 5 years of age under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). The next step is for the CDC to approve the vaccines. Then the county will release vaccines to practices like ours and documentation codes will go live so that doses can be charted with the California Immunization Registry (CAIR). We are not allowed to schedule patients for this vaccine until all these steps have occurred. Once they have, our links for signing up for COVID vaccine will have a new choice for COVID vaccine for 6 months to 5 years old. If you sign up on our website BEFORE all of these steps happen, your appointment will be CANCELED. Please continue to be patient. It is very exciting to be able to vaccinate our younger children!
