The Bay Area had entered into another month of Shelter in Place but with some relaxation of rules. East Bay Pediatrics reminds all of our families to continue to practice safe social distancing in order to continue to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Our practice is OPEN and available to you and your families for visits in-person, by video, and by phone. Please CALL to make an appointment (925) 254-9203.
We encourage all children under 2 years old to come in for their routine well visits and vaccinations. Throughout the month of May, older children who need vaccines and school forms should also keep their appointments. We are tentatively opening up the months of June and July to help get all the other patients up to date on their well visits.
Many sick visits or consults can be done by video. Some visits will be done in person in our Berkeley location. Please DO NOT walk-in; please CALL to schedule your appointment at (925) 438-1100 - even on Saturdays!
All patients and families should follow social distancing guidelines while in the office. Please bring only one parent or caregiver with patients over 3 months of age. All parents, caregivers and patients over 12 years of age must wear a mask (children under 2 years of age should NOT wear a mask).
A note on testing:

A note on testing:
- COVID-19 testing is available for symptomatic patients.
- Testing requires an order from your doctor. Please call to schedule an appointment with a doctor.
- Antibody testing is not recommended at this time. Experts report poor reliability of the test both in terms of positive or negative results. We also do not have enough information to advise whether a positive antibody test means that the patient is immune to further COVID-19 infections.
